The On Road Camper Trailer is an extremely lightweight (approx. 350kg.) camper, especially suited for smaller sedans. The camper is able to be pushed around by hand. This makes it easy to position and it is unnecessary to back the camper with your car if this is a problem for you. It has all you need - spare tyre, jockey wheel, stabiliser leg, aluminium bench - being an on road camper, you will probably be staying in caravan parks or the like. The tent can be erected by one person and up in 5 minutes - a very important feature of the camper is how easy the tent is to erect. The camper has a king size bed with a removable privacy curtain, storage pockets and inside flaps on the windows around the bed so you don't have to get out of bed to zip up the windows if it starts raining or gets too windy.
The tent area measures 2.3 metres x 2.1 metres, providing further sleeping area. Screened air vents on the drop from the bed provide air circulation and access to the side of the trailer. The windows are part PVC so that the window flaps don't have to be all the way down when it's raining. The annex is attached by zip and velcro along the length of the trailer and measures 3.8 metres x 2.4metres. The tail gate swings out under the annex and the aluminium bench slots on providing a kitchen/preparation area. We use aluminium poles and spreader bars. Light but strong - making it easy to lift the whole bag of poles out of the trailer. Access to the trailer is via the gas lifted bed base, hatches under the bed or tail gate.
